hi,
i have tried running the goldmine maintenance as suggested but now I am getting an "Insufficient Disk Space" error message. we checked our server and there is loads of free space (16gb) so we dont know what the problem is.
Can you help with this one too please? thanks,

Hi Dawn,
This is a very common Goldmine error caused by a problem with the way that it handles (or more accurately doesn't handle) large files. Essentially the problem boils down to Goldmine's inability to deal with free disk space which is in a multiple of 4GB.
You report that your server has 16GB free which is divisible by 4 (4GB x 4 = 16GB). The only way to resolve this issue is to either free some additional disk space so the free space is 17GB or more, or to reduce the free space to 15GB or below. The way that we usually get round this problem is to make a copy of a very large file, like mailbox.dbf from the Goldmine folder and paste it somewhere on the drive just to push the free space below the magic 16GB barrier.
Let us know how you get on with this!
