Assuming that you are using a pre-SQL version of Goldmine (such as version 6.5 or earlier), in our experience the "Missing CAL Record" error seems to occur when there is some kind of interruption which stops Goldmine writing the correct email data into it's database. Because this is a relatively rare occurrence (if it is not there could be a more serious problem) tracing the exact cause of the error can be quite difficult.
Usually we advise our clients to move the offending email into another filed email folder which is the quickest way to prevent the error message popping up all the time. This is the quickest way around the problem although it does not recover the corrupted email. If the email involved is important and you need to get it back there is some in-depth maintenance of the underlying DBF database files required; this is a complex operation (if you want to know more please
