IT Auditing Services

To better understand your internal IT systems or to provide a baseline from which to plan future developments or savings, Junari offer audit reporting services for your convenience. Junari staff will liaise with your team to review and document your infrastructure and processes, customising each report to your specific needs.

IT Systems Audit

Purpose

The IT Systems Audit is designed to give companies an overview of their existing IT infrastructure to assist in decision making or to advise how existing investments can be maximised. The IT Systems Audit does this by reviewing:

  • Server setups (hardware, software and administrative functions.
  • General backup and disaster recovery provisions
  • Analysis of systems and applications in use within your business
  • High level overview of your IT infrastructure
  • Current technical support provisions and practices
  • Political considerations such as company policies
  • Any existing IT development plans
  • Any other areas of interest you would like investigated such as upgrade feasibility studies, office relocation services or enhancing network security.

Junari will visit your site(s) analysing your systems and discussing with management and users their attitudes and understanding of how IT benefits their business and how they feel things could be further improved.

Outcome

Once analysis is complete, we will compile a report detailing our findings, with an executive summary detailing any problems found with the existing infrastructure and processes, suggested action points and possible developments seen as being beneficial to you and your business.

Network Audit

Purpose 

The Network Audit is designed to give companies a deeper understanding of the capabilities and limitations of the network which can then be used to identify the causes of any issues or to provide a platform from which further developments can be planned. The Network Audit does this by reviewing and testing:

  • Network hardware such as switches, routers and hubs
  • Network bandwidth and throughput using a variety of network protocols
  • Analysis of External network interfaces and connectivity
  • Structured cabling and fibre optic connections
  • Any other areas of interest you would like investigating such as upgrade feasibility studies, office relocation services or network security enhancements.

We will visit your site(s) analysing and testing your network and discussing with management and users any issues they are aware of.

Outcome

When the analysis is complete we will produce a report detailing our findings, with an executive summary detailing any problems found with the existing infrastructure, suggested action points and possible developments and reconfiguration seen as being beneficial to you and your business.

Network Security Audit

Purpose 

The Network Security Audit is an in-depth review of a client’s attitudes to and provisions for data and network security. Using the report generated after the Audit, you will be able to accurately assess your current security precautions and then institute remedial measures where required to stay within the confines of relevant legislation such as the Data Protection Act (1998).
Taking the form of interviews with key stakeholders and onsite investigations, the Audit covers issues such as:

  • Policies and Procedures to prevent security issues
  • Planning for potential security breaches
  • Precautions against security breaches
  • IT security configurations
  • User security, information and education
  • Physical network protection

Outcome

Purpose

The Complete ICT Audit is designed to give companies an in-depth understanding of their IT and communications systems to assist in decision making or to advise how existing investments can be maximised or to provide a benchmark against which future developments can be measured.
